We'll be running this practice if there is enough interest. A lot of the drivers from the last one expressed such interest so it will probably be a go. We should know by this Friday if we'll be running this practice.
The track layout for the practice may or may not give a sneak preview to the layout that will be used for opening night so it might just be worth while if you plan on competing. Drivers from the last practice had a taste but this time the course we be improved and more exciting.

| It was amazing...as usual. The drivers were tearing it up proving Capital Drifters are the best! Even through all the wind and snow that kept coming down all day everyone stuck it out and kept sliding on. Practice 5 also saw some serious tandem action that totally left me speechless and stepped up the game to a whole new level. | |

| So awesome, and I wasn't even driving! Stunt drivers from van stopped by again to rip up the track showin off the moves with nicely setup 240's. Tandem is a go! There was a Porsche and Corolla duel. John and Matt showin off their mad skillz. Was raining and snowing all day, really pushing drivers to the limit. Supra had an unfortunate accident. Cops showed up looking for a 'White Corolla' shortly after he left. Subaru showed up late half way in the day with a new setup and was pullin some nice 4 wheel slides. Had some new drivers to the track also. Everyone is improving like crazy. 2009 Season is going to be killer!@ I cant wait to get some new wheels. Lets see some photos/videos! | |

| Ya it was a good day...only good not great! lol
Driving was fun as always, i had a blast and got to know the track better, and some parts i didn't want to know better! Also its nice to watch others giver their all. Matt ripped it up pretty damn good, so did the Van crew. I enjoyed talking to every one and sharing tips/stories/stupid shit haha
what brought it down from great you ask??
Well first off the weather being lame. Then drive out to the track was probably the 2nd scariest/stressful drive I've had. 4 bald tires and the highway dont mix to well (or should i call it the water way) Then when I pulled in to the track parking lot one of the MONSTROUS speed bumps ripped my exhaust off, i had to put it back on in the parking lot...in the pissing rain. Others thing that added to it that day:
-going off track and ripping off the exhaust
-rain snow WIND!!
-supra hitting wall
-exhaust again!
-more rain snow wind
-me hitting the wall
-cleaning up all the wet shit haha
over all it was a very fun day with minor annoying inconveniences that the driving made up for. But i think my car is getting tired....... | |

| Thanks Phil! As for the damage its not too bad. I was sliding parallel to the wall when i hit it. I hit right on the wheels, so they took most of the force. After i pulled away you could see two black "donuts" on the wall haha it was pretty funny. I think i might have bent my front spindle, the top of the tire is closer to the strut casing then it was before (compared to the drivers side) And i cant think of anything else (other than a bent spindle) that would cause this. Also my passenger door doesn't open, there is a scuffs on the front bumper, trim and rear fender arch, but that stuff just blends right in haha te72wagon nice user name were you taking pics/vids the previous drift event? i'm pretty sure i've met you before last year some time at Ben's shop. Thats my other wagon | |
