| yea im not too big on choppin the back, but after seeing it like this ive decided to go with it. keep just enough room back there for 4 wheels and 1 jack i have alot of cleaning and adjusting around the barn here to make room so i can get started on her. 5spd from the wagon will be swapped and ill make some purchases on suspension. ( anyone got some ae86 susp parts for sale?) | |

that and i dont really know how to weld so i might be taking the welding C program at camosun to learn. a good chunk of the course is SMAW on 1/2" steel plate. as far as welding thinner metal, there is a week or two of oxy-acetylene welding (oldschool and rad) and a brief introduction with GMAW and FCAW since it's so easy. if you are serious about welding and don't mind dropping some cash i would highly recommend it, if not there are always hobbyist classes. welding is fun. my truck conversion went sour due to the fact that i couldn't weld for shit. also, i didn't give a thought to what i was doing. drew a line and pulled out the grinder. /threadjck | |
