Practice 3 Feb8

Ok, so me an josh want to come down and co-drive a 240 we managed to bum off a friend for the weekend.

Heres the thing: we're both broke right now and we're splitting gas and track time, so we also want to split entry fee as we're in the same car, thus getting half the track time each.

As long as this is cool, we'll come down. We'll be happy to help out the newer guys and give tips, suggestions, and input on their driving style.

ps: our buddy with a silvia is also planning on coming down..

i think one of you will have to pay a pit pass (thats it, just to be fair to everyone else)

WE had a father/son duo but i don't know how the entry was handled.

So its not a problem, but again, i'm assuming one of you will have to get a pit pass

yep. between the two of you to share track time it will cost 1 driver admission and 1 pit pass.

If we are a bit late, we probably got lost on the way, but we'll be trying our hardest to get there on time, catching the 7am ferry over...

yep we all cruising together, we should be there on time though!

i had some engine trouble that came out of nowhere a couple days ago, thought I wouldnt be able to go to this event. Today I changed fuel filter, maf and seafoamed and now its good. Ill lbe there tommorow.

We may be a bit late as its a long drive, and we have to change some tires in the morning before coming down.

Should be there by 11-ish at the latest.

awesome day today guys!! got a few pics that Derek took. the vids will be up later but there is only as few.

Fun day overall, despite the car we drove being absolutely brutal. The lower rad support was smashed in so steering response was completely off, so constant spinning. Finally somewhat got the hang of it towards the end but up till then it was spin city.

there is one 7 min long vid of the camera in just one spot...kinda lame. next event will be filmed better.

my 86 was mad understeer this event because of my incident with the curb last event...gonna need to get an alignment and lossen my front sway.
anyone know who in town does the best alignment for lowered vehicles?

Wow, awesome day yesterday everyone!!

I want to thank everyone for coming out again. We're able to put these practices and track days on because of all you drivers. Thank you.

See you on March 1st for our last practice day before the opener of Capital Drift on April 17.

I'm glad my car didn't break on me this time, I didn't get any wheel hop......but still feeling the underpoweredness of my car. I'm waiting for a wet event.


As for the filming i think it would be cool if ever run was filmed


but for those that did film can we see the footage? and more importantly any of the white wagon
